  • Turban/putka or chunni/scarf (all boys will have a turban tied on them each day; please bring one appropriately sized for their head)

  • Rainjacket
  • Swim wear (please be modest in your choice of what to wear)
  • Laundry bag
  • Kleenex
  • Flashlight
  • Pencil (sharpened!), pen, and 3-ring binder (with paper)
  • Insect repellent
  • Harmonium and/or tabla
  • Camp Keertan Books from last year
  • Prepaid Calling Card
  • Water Bottle (please make sure you write your name in marker on this)
  • Copy of front/back of health insurance card (please place in an envelope in your suitcase)
  • A book/novel to read during nap time if you don’t wish to sleep.

Please Note:

  • Pants are required in Gurdwara. Dastaar/Pugri is also required for boys during Gurdwara.
  • Candy, gum, and snacks are not allowed

There is a phone located in the dining hall of the campsite. You can reach someone by calling (423) 881-5747 during meal times. [8:50 am – 9:25 am, 12:45 pm – 1:30 pm, 6:15 pm – 7:00 pm]. There is virtually no cell service available at the campsite so if you wish for your child to be able to make outgoing calls, please send a calling card with him/her.
